Visit the cirques of Reunion island
The cirques of Reunion island are three in number. The cirques of Mafate, Salazie and Cilaos. These are quite atypical places compared to the coast of Reunion island.
The Mafate cirque is only accessible on foot or by helicopter. It is a very nice hike to go to meet the inhabitants of Mafate, a village cut off from the world.
We also recommend going to visit the Maïdo, at the top of the cirque, which offers a breathtaking view of these mountains in the heart of Reunion island.
